Wedding Bar Options (Open, Cash) in Tuscany

Let’s talk about Wedding Bar Options in Tuscany

Here some ideas for Wedding Bar Options in Tuscany

When planning a wedding in Italy you will have many decisions to make – not least among them is the choice of whether or not to serve alcohol. Are you kidding? This is Tuscany – in the heart of the Chianti region – home to some of the finest wines in the world.

I don’t think that if you choose Tuscany as your wedding location you can opt for a completely alcohol-free wedding. Of course, you will provide a choice of non-alcoholic drinks for the guests who don’t want to have a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail.

You have also to consider that most of BeA Alfresco Wedding Tuscan venues are wine producers, so that the wine is not so expensive and you can buy it as much as you like.

On the other hand, it could be better to let your guests pay for the spirits if you have a limited budget.

So the next question is: do you have an open bar or a cash bar?

An open bar will naturally be more popular with your guests but it can severely strain your wedding budget.

However, it’s nice to have an open bar for your guests so they can entertain themselves for instance while you’re having your wedding pictures taken. However, with an open bar there is always the danger that some of your guests will over-indulge and may spend most of their time hanging around the bar and enjoying the free drinks.

They might even miss some of the important wedding ‘events’ such as cutting the cake, putting the garter on the bride and the tossing of the bridal bouquet.

Having read all of the above you’ve probably decided to have a cash bar, make the guests pay for their own drinks, and keep the elegant tone of your special wedding day in Tuscany – and also help you to stay within budget.

However, at Alfresco Wedding we can help you in finding the best bar option, according both to your style and your budget.

We will discuss the different options for a cash bar with our wedding suppliers – perhaps we could set a limit on the cost; and once that limit is reached you could opt to change to a cash bar. We can also check if there is the option of a package deal for an open bar in the venue chosen for your alfresco wedding.

The happy solution might be to have a limited bar where you will serve two or three different kinds of beer, red and white wine (which should be great, considering your wedding location) and perhaps offer an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version of a ‘specialty drink’ which your bartender could make available – perhaps one of his or her own creation.

Naturally you will be having a champagne toast to the bride and groom, and in Tuscany you will have a large variety of local vintages to choose from. Ask us for help with this!

We will find together the best wedding bar and wine service for you, your guests… and your budget!

Salute!
